Mar 10, 2018 · 2010 Prius, about 110K miles. A few weeks ago, I started to hear a strange low rolling noise under the car, when drive from stop to go at low speed. The installation of an emergency drive system in a vessel fitted with lowspeed propulsion requires a different solution, due to the high torque, high power, low rpm requirements of the engine. An innovative takemehome system was developed by Marinvest Engineering and marine designer Bo Bengtsson for a slow speed main engine on product tankers.

Feb 21, 2013 · Rotor brakes can be mounted on the low speed rotor shaft, on the highspeed generator shaft, and in some cases on both shafts. Low speed shaft braking is relatively straightforward in that a large disc brake, with a large friction lining area, is easy to accommodate. But wind turbine appliions require a very high braking torque.

Jul 20, 2010 · Low speed clunk driving me nuts (figured it out thanks) I edited this post today, 6/6/10, to make it more tothepoint and would really appreciate feedback. I have a suspension noise that I isolated to the passenger front and it appears to be the endlink. The noise only occurs at a gentle takeoff and/or slow driving speeds on a 'bumpy' road.

Parting off. Parting off is mainly performed in bar feed machines, often used in mass production. The parting off operation is usually only a small part of the component's total machining time and therefore not usually seen as a target area for time savings. However, after the parting sequence, some components still have additional features to ...
